Research On The Economical Garden Design Of Urban Waterfront

Urban waterfront district is an important resource for urban development, it is of great importance and value in improving the quality of urban environment, enriching the urban landscape, and promoting urban economic development, etc.... But in the process of rapid development of urbanization, it has suffered the serious resource crisis, such as the unbalance water ecological system, the insufficient land resources, the high cost of the green space maintenance. It is time for us to to review the way of waterfront landscape design and to find a scientific method for it.Under the background of urban economical green space, the dissertation researches the economical garden design of urban waterfront, it aims at finding a new way for the urban waterfront landscape design and the urban green space design. Through analyzing relevant background theory about urban waterfront and economical garden, problems are pointed out. At the base of analyzing the relation about urban waterfront and economical garden, the methods of the economical garden design of urban waterfront are provided. Particular content is below:(1) Summarizing the circumstances of urban waterfront and economical garden in foreign country and homeland, and providing some problems of it,suuh as the serious water resource crisis of urban waterfront, the breadth and depth of the economical garden design of urban waterfront, and few comprehensive research results about it.(2) Analyzing the role of economical garden in the. sustainable development city and the influence of urban waterfront for the city, at the same time, pointing out the necessity of the economical garden design of urban waterfront. Two typical urban waterfront design are introduced and analyzed to demonstrate the value of the economical garden design of urban waterfront.(3) Summing up the related the theory basis and principles, and pointing out the three control elements, including ecological level elements, technical level elements, cultural level elements.(4) The reasonable methods about the economical garden design of urban waterfront are discussed. Some way are achieved:the economical approaches of green space design, the economical approaches of waterfront project, the supporting measures of cultural level elements.(5) At the end of dissertation, the reasonable methods are demonstrated by the Qiandao lake waterfront landscape belt design. Through analyzing the strength and the weakness of it, the economical methods are pointed out.
