The Research On The Urban Landscape Design With Regional Culture Characteristics In Ganzhou

In recent years, with the rapid development, cities face the double crisis of the breakage of historical context and ecology dislocation. On one hand,"thousands of cities with the similar face" is a common phenomenon and regional characteristics have badly lost. So that cultural attribute of approving self-survival cannot be found from urban landscape. On the other hand, blind reconstruction and extension in urban construction result in the damage of ecological environment and waste of resources. Searching to the bottom, the main reason is that the development requirements of city’s regional culuter is ignored in urban construction. Hence this thesis puts forward the point of urban landscape design with regional culture characteristics. Taking the design of Ganzhou’s urban landscape for example and through the analysis and discussion of its regional culture characteristics, principles and methods of urban landscape design with cultural characteristics in Ganzhou will be summerized to creat the urban inhabitation environment with Ganzhou’s regional characteristics.Ganzhou is a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than2,000years and many historical cultural relics. Located in the upper reach of the Ganjiang River, Ganzhou is a strategically important area since ancient times which link the south to the north, the west to the east, appease the Baiyue Zone from the south and adjoin the Zhongzhou from the north. Such a long history and the superior geographical conditions give a deep cultural deposits to the city and provide a base for the urban landscape with Ganzhou’s regional culture characteristics. In this thesis, first, concept of landscape, urban landscape and regional culture are discussed to provide the theoretical basis for the urban landscape design with regional culture characteristics in Ganzhou. Then, features of Ganzhou’s regional culture resources like geographical resource, Hakka culture, geomantic omen culture and the red cultural characteristics, together with the current situation of Ganzhou’s urban landscape design will be analysed to come up with the principles and methods of urban landscape design with Ganzhou’s regional culture characteristics. What’s more, how to use the above-mentioned principles and methods in the real design will be discussed by instance analysis. So that regional culture will be refined and applied in the urban landscape design in Ganzhou. Finally, summary will be made to repeat the significance of the urban landscape design with regional culture characteristics. Better development and promotion in Ganzhou’s urban landscape will also be expected.
