Study On Songshan Mountain Landscape Under The Mountain Worship Culture

Mountain worship culture is one of the original human nature worship. The hominids was very dependent on the mountains, but the flash floods, forest fires, earthquakes and other natural phenomena could not be explained, so they were developed awe and dependence psychological on mountains. This deep-rooted mountain worship along with the progress of human civilization, have extensive connections with many aspects such as cosmology, feng shui, religion, art in human social and cultural systems."The centre of Heaven and Earth" concept was originally a traditional view of the universe, but in the process of integrating culture with mountain-worship, Songshan has been given a sacred place, then became "The centre of Heaven and Earth ".Songshan is located in the Central Plains, between the mountain widespread low hilly plains. The water resource is abundant, and the climate is suitable for the survival of mankind, therefore Songshan has always been the center of human activity since ancient times. Songshan were given the sacred status in the exploring for "The centre of Heaven and Earth", and this process is a powerful impetus to the progress of civilization of the Songshan area. Since the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasty, Songshan has always be a center in the activities such as politics, religion, science and technology, education and so on, then Songshan is preceded by the name of "Zhongyue", and turns into a land of gathering Wise people, assembling the cultural and intergrowth of mankind and nature.Through combing all kinds of local history, poetry and travel literature, the geographical overview, the course of development and the landscape types of Songshan were studied in this article, then the aesthetic characteristics, the site selection, the layout of the buildings and the spatial characteristics of Songshan were analyzed. The humane connotation and historical accumulation of Songshan landscape were known from analyzing the linkages between Songshan landscape and the concept of mountain worship and "The centre of Heaven and Earth".In this paper, the Songshan landscape elements and the characteristics of its space were analyzed, in this process, the analysis focused on the characteristics of the the main building in the overall layout, grasp the scale, space composition. the characteristics of the culture of the Songshan landscape were summarized:spacious and varied environment, strong religious atmosphere, profound architectural culture, luxurious and abundant inscriptions. Landscape is materialized social attitudes. The spatial and cultural characteristics of the Songshan landscape truly reflects the Songshan region’s ethical value system and social psychology, including the unity of nature and man, the introverted psychosocial, hierarchical Ritual Law, the pursuit of "moderation" cultural psychology. Under the influence of mountain worship, the Songshan inner spirit was a cultural collision result. As the core culture of the Central Plains region, Songshan culture had a far-reaching impact on the Chinese nation and even the world.Mountain worship culture is not isolated, but intertwined with other cultures. Since the geographical is different, the formation mountain landscape is different, even the same influences by mountain worship in Songshan and the others.In this article, the mount tai was selected as a reference object. Their characteristics in the type of the cultural landscape remains, landscape distribution characteristics and the landscape sequence organization were obviously different. Precisely because of the "Centre" in traditional Chinese culture is sacred, Songshan, regarded as "Zhongyue", has been given the characteristics which other mountain do not have in China. The Songshan historical buildings are gathered here in this cultural belief.In this article, recommendations for the status quo and problems of the environment, management, tourism and other aspects of the Songshan scenic spot also were made. For the Dengfeng government, the environment and the management should be improved and standardized to fully discover and integrate the rich cultural of Songshan, enhance the cultural participation in the scenic tours, reshape the brand image of "cultural famous mountains". In addition, the development of Songshan Scenic Area should be brought into the overall urban planning to achieve the sustainable application and development of the Songshan landscape and culture.
