Junya Ishigami is the most spectacular Japanese young architect born in1970s.He keeps on exploring the development direction of architecture.Using his work,he achive the sense of blur between architecture and art, architecture and nature, architecture and structure.As a representative of pioneers,he push the "disappear" feature of architecture to extreme,which make architecture fade and blend with the nature.In this paper,the author tries to analysis the feature of "disappear" in Junya Ishigami’s architecture design.This paper consists of five chapters.chapter1clarifies the clear definition of "disappear",and elaborate the research background, literature review,research meaning,research significance,and the development of Junya Ishigami.Chapter2introduces the establishment of Junya Ishigami’s architectural views from such aspects as Japanses traditional aesthetics and "superflat" culture,on this foundation,it traces back to the architectural theories’inheritance and development from his teacher and other young architecture.Chapter3sums up4feature of his work from such aspects as rank,volume,dimension,boundary.Chapter4explores the structure design and material’s construction using KAIT kobo and "Table" as examples.At last,the author summarize the study achievement in this paper.
