Research On Planning And Design Of Suburban Agri-tourism Park

Agri-tourism is the combination of agriculture and tourism. It’s a new formindustry base on all agricultural resources to develop projects and activities which arerelated to agriculture and tourism, such as tours, entertainment, experience, learning,vacation, etc. It not only expands the new space of agriculture, but also opens up thenew field of tourism. To fit the requirements of sustainable development of humansociety, it focuses on comprehensive benefits from the fields of economy, society andenvironment.With the development of economy, to adapt the requirement of urbanization andbuilding new countryside, Agri-tourism is growing rapidly in china. The emergingand booming of Agri-tourism Park are playing important roles to increase added valueof agriculture. In recent years, Agri-tourism Park explodes in suburb areas with theadvantages of convenient transportation, timely information, high level of science andtechnology, good infrastructure, etc.This paper summarized the concepts, connotations, characteristics and types ofAgri-tourism through consulting massive materials; analyzed the developmentsituation and problems of Agri-tourism in china through drawing lessons from foreignexperiences; studied the ideas, principles and methods on planning and design ofsuburban Agri-tourism Park through synthesizing the theories in agriculture, economy,ecology and tourism fields; applied theories to practice though studying the case ofTuanbo Tianjin modern agriculture demonstration park. Wish to do my part to helpthe development of china’s Agri-tourism.
