Sightseeing agriculture is a kind of ramification combined with modern agriculture and tourism, a new sector accompanied with the construction of new country and the process of urbanization, a neonatal member of modern garden family.As a carrier of sightseeing agriculture activities, agriculture and tourism garden is based on agriculture activities, combined with tour, leisure, technique research, education and following lots of functions, gets booming development domestically in recent years. Also, developing sightseeing agriculture rationally will make sense towards resolving current"Agriculture, Countryside and Farmer Issues"and carrying out urban-rustic renewable development.Nowadays, domestic research on constructing mountainous agri-tourism garden is rare, it is still at an outset phase, the related planning and design method and theory as a guideline which has complete system is deficient. Nevertheless, attribute to its excellent nature environment, mountainous region is gradually becoming the priority of housing, traveling and relaxation of modern metropolitan folks. Through landscape construction, it could exhibit advantage of perspective variety, spatial variability and creature diversity. Although it has much more restriction factors contrasting with flat construction, it reveals a feature on landscape construction.This article sets the mountainous region Chongqing as a research object, in terms of planning and design of agriculture and tourism garden, combined with multiple subject theory. Through inquiring mass of literatures, combing with local investigation and analysis of the item, it discussed the influence ingredients and theory method of agriculture and tourism garden planning and design which is on the backdrop of mountainous region city.Through narrating the origin, practical meaning, relevant concepts, the domestic and overseas development of sightseeing agriculture, it analyzed the characteristics, types and functions of agriculture sightseeing garden. It strives to systemically, rationally and explicitly explain the issues associated with agriculture sightseeing garden.And it discussed the possibility equations of mountainous region and come up with a proportion of feasible recommendation.Then, it made the exploring of related theory of mountainous agri-tourism garden planning and design, summed up six landscape design principle that is need to conform with. And put forward reasonable ways for the overall planning of park and the design of different function areas.Lastly,through analyzing some relevant cases, it briefly introduced the mountainous agri-tourism garden planning and design practice achievement which I took part in and the concluded experience. Thus, it interpreted how to take advantage of mountainous agri-tourism garden planning and design to conduct practice to inflict more upscale garden space,and made the prospect of mountainous agri-tourism garden development.
