Transmission line in the electric power system plays a crucial role in, with therapid development of national economy, transmission line using scope is also moreand more wide range, on the safe and stable operation of power system plays animportant role can not be ignored. Insulators in transmission line located naturalconditiong is reatively complex and bad, and the insuator materia itself and operationstatus problems easily lead to pollution flashover, caused by line fault. Based on theabove reasons, according to the running state of insulator on line detection reserarch,to a great extent improve the insulator pollution flashover of early warning ability, thepower system transmission line monitoring maintenance mode by the plan to the statetransition, guarantee the safe and stable operation of power transmission lines.Guarantee the safe and stable operation of power transmission lines, in themainternace of the security and reliability of system plays a key role. Thecombination of domestic and forergn research results, this paper elaborates on theinsulator on acoustic emission detection method, based on the acoustic emission ofthe external insulation state detection method was studied. Using the high sensitivityof confocal acoustic sensor and test data acquisition circuit for gernerating in thedischarge of acoustic signal of accurate collection; on pollution discharge and coronadischarge in two features of acoustic emission signal were analyzed and studied, inview of these two kind of acoustic emission in phase with the differences instrength.This paper proposes an identification of corona discharge and pollution onacoustic emisson signals produce by new method. This method eliminates the coronadischarge of pollution on acoustic emission signal intergerence. At the end of thispaper summarizes the internal discharge, insulator contaminant discharge and coronadischarge characteristics of acoustic emission wave, analysis of acoustic emissiondetection of interference and anti interferenc measures.This paper based on the acoustic emission technology in acoustic detectionmethod method of insulator on line detection is a new method, at the same time,butalso the maintenance of security and stability of power system is an importantapplication,for the electric power system and other application of acoustic emission toestabish research foundation.
