Weapons must be used in the natural environment. As an important part of thenatural environment, the atmospheric environment s effect on weapons cannot beignored. The test and training architecture (HIT-TENA) is a general architecture ofvirtual test proposed by HIT according to the development status of domestic testand training. The virtual environment is an important content of the HIT-TENA.The purpose of this project is to develop an atmospheric environment resource ofHIT-TENA.To build the numerical model of atmospheric environment members, themodeling method of atmospheric environment members: wind field, temperaturefield, cloud, fog and visibility are discussed. The modeling method draw lessonsfrom the theories of meteorology and hydrodynamics. To make the model inaccordance with the project needs, some simplifications have been made. In themodeling of microburst, a nested DE algorithm is introduced into the parameterselection process of the commonly used vortex ring model, which makes it highlyflexible. In order to improve the normative of presentation and interaction ofatmospheric data, some researches are made on the technical elements andoperating mode of SEDRIS. Then studies of representation and interaction methodbased on SEDRIS of atmospheric data are made.Based on the findings above, related software to atmospheric resource of HIT-TENA are developed, including the atmospheric environment data generationsoftware, the resource SDOS configuration software and the atmosphericenvironment resource software. UML language is used to describe the design andimplementation process of the software, and key processes are analyzed in detail. The software are finally completed in VisualStudio and Qt software developmentplatform. The testing results show that the atmospheric model is reasonable, thesoftware can generate the atmospheric environment data according to the user sconfiguration, and the data is in accordance with the SEDRIS standard. Theatmospheric environment resource of HIT-TENA can provide the real-timeatmospheric environment data for other test members. The design meets therequirements.
