The change of the medical mode determines that the traditional hospitalindoor environment is no longer applicable in the new era. The new medical model,namely the "creature-psychology-society" medical model indicates that theoccurrence of the disease is not only determined by biological level factor, but alsothe result of the environmental and social factors; at the same time, the treatment ofthe disease should not just rely on the doctor. The understanding of the auxiliaryfunction of environment is very important and this requires that the indoorenvironment in modern hospital can make people feel positive and optimistic,which is called "humane atmosphere ".This essay investigates the indoor environment of the three triple “A” hospitaland analyze the international advanced humane hospitals. By comparing thedifference between them, the essay identifies the weakness and gaps of Chinesehospitals in humane atmosphere such as the lack of attention and creativity. Then,through the study of indoor humane environment, the major factors of humaneenvironment are clarified. These factors are: space, material, color, form, light, softdecoration, etc. The characteristics of humane environment are system, regionalism,participatory, culture, theme, emotion. The methods to create the humaneenvironment are: scene reproduction, symbolic indication method, dynamicinteraction, psychological induction, the theme positioning, systematicoptimization. Finally, combined with China’s basic national conditions, thesevaluable experience is analyzed and the methods applicable to China areestablished which are: the " three party communication mechanism among“owners-designer–users”, perfection of function and scientific layout design,economic feasible theme atmosphere, enrichment space elements, optimization ofspace appeal.
