With the development of social economy and the increasing stress of energy andenvironment, it is imperative to restructure the auto industry and transform the energystructure. The electric vehicle has become the most promising new industry for thefollowing features: high energy use efficiency, lower environment pollution, variousdisposable clean energy, low noise, low maintenance costs, high safety andintellectualized operation.etc. Nowadays, there is an increasing popularity of research onthe electric vehicle and the industrial development.This thesis has designed an intelligent monitoring and management system platformof Tangshan pure electric bus, including intelligent monitoring hardware and softwaresystems, which focuses on the technical parameters, system risks and security incident ofelectric vehicle. The hardware system, based on constructing vehicle, battery andcommunicational network, mainly develops the GPS+GPRS ITS module of pure electricbus and realizes the information acquisition and transmission of vehicle’s position, speed,SOC, battery voltage, current flow and so on.The software system adopts the MicrosoftVisual Studio2010as development platform, the Microsoft SQL Server2005asdatabase development system, and VB.net language and Iocomp and Mapinfo Mapx5.0to make network programming which can manage vehicles, set view and parameters,monitor map and do data acquisition, transfer and processing. The system platform hasachieved the real-time monitoring and management of vehicle position, battery parameters and malfunction, and set up the vehicle static database which providestechnical support for the vehicle’s safe and effective operation.Practice has proved that this system operation is stable and reliable, and datatransmission is fast and accurate, which can meet the requirements of the actual operationand create more economic and social benefits. The test data of this research providestechnical support for the optimization design of pure electric vehicle and the developmentof electric vehicle industry.This research also offers a new way to explore the electricvehicle demonstration and operation.
