Elderly People Product Design Research

In the case of social problems for the elderly, improving their living conditions,quality of life and happiness index through product design，is the designer’s socialresponsibilities and obligations. Therefore this article tries to analysisthe currentsocial development in old people’s physiological, psychological and behaviorcharacteristics relationship with product design, also reported about elderly in dailylabor, living in healthy life and care measures in aspects of the latest research results,this paper discusses the product design process should high attention to older people’smaterial and spiritual combination of product design and significance of urgent needs.through analysis of the elderly market demand status and future trends, carried on anin-depth investigation ofthe Muslim community elderly and the elderly life, on thisbasis, combining with the main physiological characteristics, in the mind of oldpeople in real life and life characteristics, puts forward the important content of theelderly product design involves, as well as some practical significance to the concreterealization and implementation in the short term through engineering means productdesign ideas and design methods.
