Tianjin Binhai new area is one part of the national overall development strategy, and thecore area of the Bohai economic circle. Tianjin Port which is an important part of TianjinBinhai new area, creates a rare historical opportunity of the development of TianjinPort,because Tianjin Port is the biggest advantage of Tianjin and it owns core strategicresources of Tianjin.. Nowadays, Tianjin Port has changed in concept and region. Accordingto the traffic department of transportation and tianjin joint approval to "the Tianjin Portoverall planning ", Tianjin Port will build "a port and nine areas", which will graduallyformed Beijiang, Eastjiang, Nanjiang, Dagukou, Gangshaling, Dagang, North pond, Hangu,Haihe, etc nine big new concept areas of Tianjin Port. Dagukou port which is one part ofnine areas has finished phased achievement. Dagukou port has opened to navigation sinceAugust2008.The25.5km artificial deep shoreline of Dagukou port has owned constructionconditions, which has completed the construction of deep water coastline of length morethan4km, so that Dagu sand channel which belong5000ton channel at early opening timehas became two-way traffic conditions. Dagukou port provides the amphibioustransportation service for the economic zone enterprise transporting the raw and processedmaterials and the finished product.At the same time, Dagukou port makes dislocation development with other port of TianjinPort, and provides port cargo transportation service for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. As thedevelopment and construction of the new port, Dagukou port needs to be its operation ofmaintenance and management work, in completing all infrastructure construction work.Especially as Dagukou port of ships entering and leaving channel Dagu sand channel, itsoperation management is more important.In order to complete Dagu sand channel for the operation and management work, accordingto the relevant experience, requiring and combining with the actual channel operationmanagement, this paper mainly discusses on the following several aspects work:(1) Through giving the analysis of the Dagu sand channel, it proposes the Dagu sandchannel management problems to be solved; (2) According to the mucky coast port construction experience and Dagu sand channelsediment deposition prediction and actual silting situation analysis, it looks for rules ofsediment deposition characteristics, provides guidance and recommendations for latemaintenance of channel depth.(3) According to the specification and ship navigation standard theory and combining withDagu sand channel practice, through the theoretical calculation and simulation experiments,a ship in Dagu sand waterway navigation, control standards and requirements are provided.(4) According to the Dagu sand channel facilities and vessel traffic organization, analysingthe important port in management of the supporting facilities, so as to realize effectiveorganizations of the vessel traffic flow reasonably;(5) Through the responsibilities analysis in the Dagu sand channel construction andoperation, determining the channel in the operation of the work should be coordinateddepartments.
