The products used in large or high-tech products and engineering, such asAerospace products, automotive, building products and so on, generally have highreliability and high quality. They will have an inestimable negative influence onapplication object, when they have deficiencies in the application environment. Thatis to say, they need to have a higher Applied-Maturity. The projects ofApplied-Maturity assessment are customer-oriented, focus on comprehensive testingand evaluating the performance products acted in the application environment.Those products which have a higher Applied-Maturity, usually have complexstructure and function. They also have a Prolonged R&D Cycle and high input. Toensure the customer’s demand, the verification process should have higher quality,shorter duration, and lower costs. So that a quality-time-cost optimization ofverification process in the Applied-Maturity assessment project is needed. The modelcan higher customers’ satisfactory about time, cost and quality, and ensure thescientificalness and accuracy of the results.First of all, through an domestic and overseas,extensive and deep research onApplied-Maturity assessment project or similar work, the projects’ definition,organizational structure and characteristics are studied in the dissertation. Based onthe concept and features of the related processes of the Applied-Maturity assessmentproject, an analysis on characteristics of the validation process in theApplied-Maturity assessment project is carried out.Secondly, the in-depth study of verification process’ duration, sample cost andquality, shows that there are relationships between these three elements, and eachelement has its own characteristics in optimization. According to those above, aquality-duration-sample cost optimization method model is built. The optimizationmethod model is quality-oriented, and it becomes the optimal one under thecustomer’s requirements of quality, duration, and sample cost. In the end, an exampleis given.At last, through a further quantifying of the method model, a duration-samplecost-quality optimization mathematical model of verification process in the Applied-Maturity assessment project, based on multi-objective genetic, is proposed.An example shows the feasibility of the mathematical model. The model is a new,practical ideas and methods for management of the Applied-Maturity assessmentproject.
