Study On Design Method Of Contemporary Memorial Architecture

Memorial architecture boosting progressively from ancient times to the presentday,always plays an important role in the development of architecture.With thedevelopment of the society and the increasing spiritual needs, people focused onmemorial buildings once again.Commemorative buildings are being constructed at anamazing speed in many of the cities,which aims at telling the history and educatinglater generations.With the development of industry,economy,science and informationspreading today, the design of memorial buildings faces the great new challenge. Howto realize the conversion of the limitation to opportunity is what we are muchconcerned about.And it is also the heart of creation of commemorative architecture.This paper aims at exploring new characteristics of contemporary memorialbuildings by the way of comparing the memorial buildings nowadays and thetraditional ones.Accordingly,we could discuss and consider design method to deepextent. We begins from two sides in the respect of design method. On the one hand, itis about change,that is,what has changed greatly from the traditional to thepresent.On the other hand, it is about novelty,namely,the fresh method that traditionalarchitecture does not include.We strive to explore the essence of the memorialbuilding, in order to better understand the contemporary design gimmick by theinterpretation of the two aspects.The text is to explore the creation of contemporarymemorial building, trying to base ourselves on contemporary times, paying attentionto the practice, in order to make difference to the architectural creation.
