Because of the energy crisis, the countries all over the world devotethemself to the electric car research. Pure electric vehicles are very different withtraditional fuel machine from the mechanical structure and electrical properties.For control algorithm, abnormal operation processing undergone a fundamentalchange, safety drive control strategies of the traditional fuel automobile can’tdirectly applied in electric cars, whitch need to modify according to electric carsto the characteristics.As the core component of the electric car, the vehicle controller isresponsible for manipulation and driving information collection of vehicle, theoperation attempt of driver analysis, planning of motor output torque, failuremonitoring and processing tasks. the electric cars modified by a fuel car as thethis paper research object. According to external sensors, actuators whitch isrelated to the vehicle controller, this paper discussed the detection capacity ofvehicle controller and fault processor method of analysis. And this paperanalyzes failure treatment method on the states of operating and the keys to theSTARTER ON. And modeling vehicle high-speed working conditions, the paperproposes the rolling optimization method of torque motor at a high speed so thatvehicle cannot go over security speed.In order to test the function of the controller, the feasibility of the securitydrive control strategy and performance,this paper also designs the hardware inthe loop simulation system which is composed of dynamic model of car, batterymodel, motor model, sensors and CAN bus system. Through reopening the powersystem (motor system and battery systems) modeling, presents the achieveelectric car dynamics model on the base of traditional fuel dynamics simulationsoftware ve-dyna. Use DSPACE1005to realize bus network according to theactual CAN bus network and bus agreement. Achieve sensor fault simulationaccording to the periphery of the vehicle controller.This paper used the NI company with the card of compatible Labviewsoftware because of realizing curve characteristics of sensor signal need thepowerful hardware and software support platform. Choose three boards of the NIcompany according to the electrical signals. Use labview software and softwareDAQmax on haedware configuration complete signal simulations of the key components, accelerating pedals, and brake pedal, then apply subpaneltechnology to realize subroutine calls and subpanels display.
