As a typical pattern of Performing Architecture, Concert Hall reflects socialculture and public psychology on an integrated level. Meanwhile it stands as aunique art symbol in social life. Acoustic design is an important part in design ofthe concert hall. Along with the improvement of technology, higher requirement tothe traditional method of acoustic design on concert hall is put forward.This research uses parameterization theory and methods to design acoustics asmulti-discipline of architecture acoustics and parameterization. This thesis states themeaning and characters of parameterization theory based on concert hall acoustic.Furthermore, starting from necessity and feasibility, it analyzes the parametriccharacteristics of concert hall acoustic, which provides the pre-condition for thewhole research.Under the extraction and analysis of the acoustic index parameters, the typicalacoustic index and parametric software symbols are corresponding associated. Thewhole procedures of arithmetic formation and modeling was formed, which includesthe arithmetic formation, data management and output, algorithm operation, theresults, scheme adjustment and so on. On typical parameters of sound diffusion,early lateral reflections and ray reflection, it formed the specific modeling algorithmwith the practice case. Furthermore, the filtering strategy and design process whichare suited for the parametric design was sum up.Considering the model filtration, selection and comparison, we filtered thedraft models under the help of computer acoustic simulation software (Raynoise),which made the whole process logic and explainable. By simulation and comparingof the sound diffusion effect on the parametric design of acoustic, we concluded thatcircular sound diffusion could guarantee the effect, continuous diffusion body aremore suitable for acoustic parametric design on concert hall. It also madequantitative and qualitative evaluation on the acoustic parametric design results.
