Acoustical Design Of Main Hall And Subjective Evaluation Study

The main hall acoustical design involves music, acoustics and architecture many aspects, is quite a type of architectural design.As music and the opera appreciation with considerable subjectivity, to meet the requirements of users, we must consider the basic physical parameter of acoustic fidelity and the architectural design which corresponds with it. Hall acoustics in the process of acoustical design plays a significant role, to make a good listening hall effect, it is necessary to calculate and design the sound running track, reflection, distribution and time and so on. acoustical design of the hall effect is reflected through the people's subjective feelings.Therefore, subjective evaluation is also one of the key factors, which plays an important role on doing a good job for acoustical design of the hall and promoting the main hall acoustic fidelity research. this paper manifests the entire process of the main hall acoustical design through an example.First, this article has carried on the acoustical design of the integrated teaching building of Central Conservatory of Music's Opera House, The design selects the method of combination the formula computation with the software simulation, computation and the simulation of the reverberation time, rattles, the sound proliferation, sound field unevenness etc, is in order to conform to the stipulation target.Secondly, after completion of the project, carries on the subjective appraisal to this hall. As hall quality evaluation is impacted by various factors, which affecting the level of sound quality is not the same, when carries on the subjective appraisal must overall evaluation factors obtain satisfaction the measure results. Various factors must be considered in the subjective evaluation to get satisfying results of the evaluation. Based on the above reasons, proposed that appraise the acoustic fidelity to this hall subjectively by using fuzzy mathematics theory.Finally, through the evaluation results, discusses whether the result of the acoustical design of this hall is reasonable, whether the effect is good, whether it is to be suitable for the small main hall.
