Seismic damages of earthquakes occurred in the past indicate that both the vulnerability ofvillage houses and proportion of causing disasters are relatively high, among which, a very importantreason is traditional technique of tie column and ring beam that guarantees the earthquake-resistancecapability of the village building is hard to be implemented effectively in village construction.Toavoid those abuses,this paper proposes a new technology of fabricated constructional column and ringbeam for all seismic fortification intensity districts. The ring beam and the constructional column aremade of special masonry precast blocks, and the construction technology changes from traditionalcast-in-place reinforced concrete of ring beam and constructional column to the one that takesmasonry as priority (no form erecting is needed, even a part of them need casting). The precast blockscoupled with non-vibration self-compacting concrete are used as the main supporting members ofrural buildings.In order to research earthquake-resistance capability of the new type of assembled brick masonrywith tie column and ring beam, the article builds up four wall slices to carry on the experiment: twowall slices with reinforced concrete tie column and ring beam, two wall slices with plain concrete tiecolumn and ring beam. It analyzes the earthquake-resistance capability of the new wall slice, such asbearing capacity, ductility, and yielding ability of earthquake-resistance and shearing property, andstudies hysteresis curve, skeleton curve, and normalized skeleton curve of the wall. This paper alsoadopts the method of numerical simulation to construct five finite element models in all---a reinforcedconcrete tie column and ring beam wall slice,a plain concrete tie column and ring beam wall slice,atake the window of reinforced concrete tie column and ring beam wall slice,a take the window of plainconcrete tie column and ring beam wall slice and a take the door of plain concrete tie column and ringbeam wall slice, and analyses the earthquake-resistance capability of new type of brick masonry,which is contrast with the testing result and is expanded, and the conclusion is drawn.Testing research shows: the new type of assembled brick masonry of village could meet therequirement of earthquake-resistance capability. Compared with traditional brick masonry with tiecolumn and ring beam, it has saved plenty of manpower and material resources and it is easy toconstruct, which could be popularized and applied to construction of village houses.
