With the rapid development of economy, excessive energy consumption andenvironmental pollution has become a common concern of people around the world.As the gradual change in lifestyle of modern society, a large part of people’s time isspent indoors, how to improve indoor environmental problems have gradually beenput on the agenda. There are a lot of indoor environmental pollutants, and inhalableparticles become the pirmary pollutant, which is harmful to human health. Becausewool fibers have potential advantages as air filtering material, this paper studied itsfiltering performance to inhalable particles.We also study the performance of the woolfilter materials which treated with the nanometer TiO2photocatalysis. In addition,wechoose two different density Polypropylene Mateirals and two different densityPolypropylene Electret Materials. In the same condition of e^eriment, we test theirfilter performance to the PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0 test Andresults with wool filter andphotocatalyst as is ifnishing like to compare the experimental results and analysis,further evaluation of wool filter respirable particles on iflter performance.In order to test the wool mateiral’s purifying performance to the PMx, this paperhas designed a set of experiments designed to test device with TSI8520DustTrak?Aerosol Monitor, Digital Micro-manometer, the glass rotameter and the vortex pump.First, this experiment choose1mm,3mm and5mm in three different specificationsof the filter as it was, test its ifltering efficiency and filter resistance to PMx and so on.Second, we use the nanometer TiO2photocatalysis treated the three specifications ofthe wool acupuncture filter through padding, and testing the filtration efficiency andfiltration resistance to the PMx of these samples after finishing. Again, we test filterperofrmance of different density Polypropylene Materials and Polypropylene ElectretMaterials to inhalable particles. We compare them with the results of the woolacupuncture filter and the wool acupuncture filter after padding. Finally, by testingdust holding capacity of the wool acupuncture filter and the wool acupuncture filteratfer padding, analysis of Photocatalytic finishing effects on wool iflter life.The result shows that atfer treated by the nanometer TiO2photocatalysis. thewool filtration material’s filtering efficiency has been improved. At the same time, itsresistance has also increased. At a certain filtrating speed, the wool filtrationmaterial’s filtering efficiency to PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM1.0decreased. With the increaseof filtrating speed, wool filter filteirng efficiency of particles decreased, while the resistance increased signiifcantly. With the increase in density, the ifltering eiffciencyof wool ifber to particles increased, the ifltration resistance also improved accordingly.Conpared with polypropylene mateirals, wool ifltration material’s ifltering eiffciencyand its iflteirng resistance are higher. But the ifltering eiffciency of the polypropyleneelectret mateirals is higher than the wool ifltration mateiral, and its ifltering resistanceis lower than the wool.From the point of experiment, this paper studied the ifltering performance of thewool acupuncture filter, the wool acupuncture filter atfer padding by nanometerTiCh phootcatalysis,Poyfpropylene Materials and Polypropylene Electret Mateirals toPMx, and made a correlation analysis and compairson, this made depth study of cleanindoor air particulate matter performance by the wool acupuncture iflter and hasgreat signiifcance. |
