In recent years, with the development of servo motor and servo control technology, servopress has also been rapidly developed. With its excellent performance such as high-precision,high flexibility, high efficiency, low noise and low power consumption, servo press has beenfavored by more and more users.At present, most of the study on servo press was focusing on servo press with lowforming speed while the study on high speed servo press was very few. In the thesis, a newtransmission system-2-DOF planar nine-bar linkage was put forward to work as thetransmission system for high speed servo press. Systematic research of such transmissionsystem was accomplished in the dissertation and the findings in this paper would provideeffective reference for future transmission system design of high speed servo press. Work inthe dissertation could be listed as follows:Firstly, the mathematic model of the2-DOF planar nine-bar linkage was constructed.The three vector equations of the closed loop were firstly constructed, and then the angularfunction, angular velocity function and angular acceleration function of each linkage could beworked out. And finally the mathematic model was constructed. Such mathematic modelwould provide fundamental reference for the latter research work in this paper.Secondly, systematic study on the kinetic performance of the transmission system wasaccomplished. The influence of the initial phase difference between bar one and bar two onthe output curve of the slide in synchronous mode as well as the influence of the velocitycurve of bar two on the output curve of the slide in the synchronous mode were discussed.Thirdly, the influence of the bar demission on the output curve was researched. The2-DOF planar nine-bar linkage was decomposed into a planar five-bar linkage and a triangularplanar linkage. The influence of the linkage demission on the slide travel, slide speed, torquedistribution and load amplification factor was discussed. Findings derived from the discussionwould provide effective reference for future optimization of such2-DOF planar nine-barlinkage system.Finally, all of the research work in the thesis would provide effective reference for futuredesigning and optimization of the transmission system in high speed servo press.
