Our country is an important coal country, because of the special distribution and burial location of coal, coal mining itself has a certain degree of risk, and because a lot of small coal mining enterprises, many coal companies put safety on the economic benefits, resulting in frequent coal mine accidents.,Now the state started to increase the regulation of coal mining enterprises, and increase investment in mine safety and security. This article will explore the RF-based wireless location technology to locate the position of underground workers, and with the network analysis functions of geographic information systems and visualization platform to propose a new program that solve the best escape routes. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, discussed several popular wireless location solutions, and compared them, overall performance, implementation, security, cost and other factors,we chose the most suitable coal mine personnel positioning solutions, combining the specific circumstances of coal mine, designed based on radio frequency technology to locate underground systems, including PC hardware design and software coding, to achieve the real-time location and route history playback of underground personnel.Secondly, introduce the concept and architecture of geographic information systems, and built arcgis visualization platform, combine the underground personnel position information which was obtained by the radio frequency and geographic information system platform to staff the position of the dynamic display in the underground map, reaching the position of staff for visualization purposes.Thirdly, studied two queries to achieve optimal path options, one is the traditional Dijkstra algorithm, the other is a GIS network analysis, these two scenarios were simulated comparison, then we chose a more efficient, more accurate and more suitable program for the actual coal mine disaster prevention. Finally, designed the entire software and hardware systems, including radio frequency personnel positioning display module, the optimal path module, nearby facilities, buffer analysis module and a detailed description of the specific implementation of each module.
