The Yugur’s Transition Of Clothing Culture Under The View Of Communication

Clothing, originally embodies the long-term historical development level of economic, cultural, and techniques of a nation. Making a general survey of dress culture of Yugur, the existing studies mostly stay in the description of clothing characteristics or the present situation, with few of historical perspective, and even fewer interdisciplinary studies by the ethnography method.Based on the field investigating and interviewing method, the article made a extensive research in DaHeXiang villiage, SuNa county of Zhangye province. It not only reveals the several important historical periods of costume culture transition, but also emphatically discusses the effection of communication on costume culture transition. Helping us to understand the cognitive culture, cognitive aspects such as social role.The paper will be divided into four parts except introduction and conclusion. The first part, tracing back to1949-1958, discusses the yugur existence status of costume culture. The second part, makes a deeply exploration in the period of1958-1978’s yugur costume culture transition. The third part, focuses on the revive of the dressing culture of the yugur after1978. The fourth part, discusses the influences and results about the several historical periods made by communication from the perspective of communication.
