With the continuous development of science and technology, and the growing awareness of environmental protection, peoper pay more attention to living and office environment. Furniture may become a medium for the spread of the virus, so it is great significant that research both the preparation of nano-silver antibacterial waterborne wood coatings which is broad-spectrum, highly efficient, durable antimicrobial properties and high film performance1. Nanosilver sol loaded on silica sol was synthesized by chemical reduction with three different reducing agents which were sodium borohydride, hydrazine hydrate, glucose. The morphology, particle size and stability of the sol samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometer, dynamic light scattering particle size analyzer. The results showed that the shape of nanosilver particle obtained by taking glucose as a reducing agent was similar as spherical and the average particle size was29.5nm and the distribution of the particles was narrower. The sol had been stored stably for over2months at room temperature. The concentration of the nanosilver sol was as high as1000mg/L. The nanosilver sol had excellent antibacterial activity to E.coli and S.aureus, and the minimum inhibitory concentration were all31.25mg/L.2. Thermal-UV curing emulsion modified by styrene was prepared on the basis of previous studies.Influence of the ratio of hard and soft monomers, amount of styrene and weight rate of core-shell monomer on the performance of dual curing emulsion were discussed. The results showed that, the film hardness of dual curing emulsion is3H, adhesion is0grade, ethanol resistance is106times of wiping without film breaking, and its heat stability had been improved. The dual curable emulsion was suitable for wood surface and a theoretical basis was provided for its application in the field of waterborne wood coatings.3. Using Thermal-UV dual curable emulsion as the film-forming resin and nano-silver sol as antibacterial agents, waterborne antibacterial coatings were prepared by formula designing. Effect of nano silver sol, auxiliaries and coating process on film performance was discussed. The results showed that, When the mass fraction of the organic silicon crosslinking agent was1%, wax emulsion was4%and the silver sol was10%, coating process of putty, primer paint was adopt,waterborne antimicrobial wood coatings had high film performance, various technical index can reach the national standard HGT23999-2009of waterborne wood coatings.4. Nano-silver antibacterial waterborne wood coatings had good inhibiting bacterium and degrading formaldehyde ability. The antibacterial rate exceeded over90%after24h and the degradation to formaldehyde of the coatings reached70%after48h in nature light.
