In Ecological Thought Of Marxism Perspective Of The Construction Of Ecological Civilization In North Jiangsu

Since the20th century, the ecological problems have become the worldwide focus with the deterioration of the global environment. The way to deal with the relationship between man and nature turns into a major contemporary issue we are facing. In the process of research of "ecological crisis", many scholars put attention to the Marxism and discover the thinking that can inspire the contemporary people to solve ecological crisis from numerous classic statements of Marx and Engels. Such finding is of important theoretical and practical significance for vigorously promoting a conservation culture in our country, creating a favorable living environment for our people and contributing to the global security.South Jiangsu is one of the well-developed areas in Jiangsu province and even in China. At present, South Jiangsu not only assumes the responsibility of speeding up economic development, but also faces the crisis and challenge of continually deteriorating ecological environment simultaneously. Therefore, we must recognize the importance and promote a conservation culture in South Jiangsu under the guidance of Marx’s ecological thought, Deng Xiaoping theory, scientific development view as well as the ecological thought proposed in the18th National People’s Congress to drive the whole South Jiangsu region onto the path to production development, affluent life and sound conservation culture.First, this paper abstracts several important points of Marx’s ecological thought:first, the preexistence of the nature; second, the dialectical unity between man and nature; third, realization of ecological development with science and technology; fourth, restriction of social relation on the relationship between man and nature. The paper also summarized the new development Marxist ecological thought in contemporary china.Then, the paper studies the ecological progress of South Jiangsu in the process of economic development with focus on the deficiencies and reasons of the conservation culture in order to promote conservation culture in South Jiangsu under the guidance of the ecological ideology of Marxism. South Jiangsu mainly has the following disadvantages in the construction of conservation culture:first, the impact of extensive economic development; second, weak ecological environment; third, weak construction of environmental infrastructure; forth, imperfect ecological system; fifth, relatively low public awareness of conservation.The methods and strategies to guide the conservation culture construction of South Jiangsu with specific Marx’s ecological thought are mainly detailed from the following aspects:first, to promote the economic development of South Jiangsu with science and technology; second, to strengthen the ecological and environmental protection in South Jiangsu; third, to improve the construction of environmental infrastructure; fourth, to establish and perfect relevant ecological system; fifth, to improve the public eco-friendly awareness.
