The Dongcha porphyry molybdenum deposit is located in Sino Korean paraplatform, Jiaoliao platform, Tieling-Jingyu anteklise, Fushun convex and Benxi concave junction, it is a recently discovered Medium porphyry molybdenum deposit in Xinbin County, Liaoning province. The overall trend of molybdenum orebody is nearlyin east-west direction, the control range is about450meters long,460meters wide. Based on the field geological investigation, it has been found that the molybdenum ore bodies12, the average grade of ore deposit is0.055%.Based on the mining area of regional geological background, metallogenic geological conditions are analyzed, on the basis of a detailed analysis of thegeologicalcharacteristics, summarizes the geological feature and metallogenic regularity, and the processing methods of molybdenum ores and process by ore-dressing experiment.According to the research of field geological survey and comprehensive analysis, Dongcha molybdenum deposit is hosted in granodiorite body and its externalcontact zone of mixed granite. It is controlled by both volcanic apparatus annularfracture structure and regmagenesis structure crevasse nearly east-westward. Molybdenum mineralization is closely related to the crack growth degree in the rock. The molybdenum ore is often branch lenticular, lenticular and vein in clustersand zonations. Molybdenum orebodies mainly consists of filling in the cracks in the rock, the parallel or reticulate molybdenum containing quartz veinlet.The mineralization type is mainly veinlets and disseminated blocks.The ore mineral consists of molybdenite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena and magnetite. Hydrothermal alteration in the mining area are well developed, widely distributed, with obvious planar alteration zonation,deposit of wall rock alteration type in turn outward from the center of silicification zone, silicification-potassium, silicification-pyritization, epidotization-chloritization.Based on the geological characteristics of study area, the hydrogeological conditions of mining area, investigation of the engineering geological conditions,geologicalenvironment conditions, analysis of the water sources and paths of ore deposits, and carries on the appraisal to the mine engineering geology, theengineering geological problems and prevention measures of mining the possible,provide a scientific basis for safety in production.
