Lanzhichang ore block of the Pingchuan iron deposit which is first discovered in Emeishan basalt located in Yanyuan county of Sichuan province is a medium-sized iron ore deposit.Based on the previous data of geological,geophysical and scientific,this paper has analyzed the geological characteristics of Lanzhichang ore block.,The estimation of iron ore mining resource and grade made by the feasibility forecast and study is used to make the economic evaluation.Pingchuan iron deposit located in the west of Yangtze metaplatform acrossed two secondary building units including Yanyuan-Lijiang geotectogene in Platform edge and Kangdian axis of earth.Tectonic evolution can be divided into the early stage of stable development platform and land reform stage. In the stage of stable development, Jinhe-Qinghe faulted structure had a tensile process which produced massive basaltic magma.Exposed stratas in Lanzhichang ore block include Zhongcao Group(S3z),Pingzi Group(C2d),Maping Group(C2-3m),Yangxin Group(P1y),Pingchuan Group(P1p), Emeishan basalt Group(P2β)and Quaternary.Iron ore belt with about6.5km composed by five ore bodys produced in LiangZi fault and XiPangou fault can be divided into V-1,V-2,V3,V4and V-5.The trend is SN,dip angle ranges from500to900.The ore body’s average thickness of4.03m, thickness variation coefficient is83%.Ore minerals are magnetite, mixed ore. Mainly metallic minerals are magnetite, hematite, limonite and magnetic hematite, pyrite, chalcopynte, hematite hematite, mushketovite, titanomagnetie, lepidocrocite and goethite are only of a small part.The ore structure contains anisomerous texture, crystal structure,blastic texture, metasomatic texture. The level of resources is331+332+333,total of24680thousand tons.The average ore grade is TFe33.22%, mFe22.60%,which proved resource of intrinsic economic (333)517Million tons,21%quantity of the total resources, the average ore grade:TFe33.17%, mFe23.10%; inner control of the amount of economic resources (332)8370thousand tons,34%the total amount of resources,average grade: TFe34.94%, mFe23.63%: inferred resource of intrinsic economic (333)1114Million tons, the total resources quantity ratio of450l0, the average ore grade: TFe31.97%, rnFe21.61%.(331)+(332) resources accounted for the total resources quantity of55%.The annual operating income of214.39million yuan is calculated for this design.The total cost is132.13million yuan,additional2.58Million yuan of value-added tax, Year net profit is79.68thousand yuan, annual net profit of59.76million yuan, annual profit rate of investment is8.50%,the rate of investment is11.67%, investment financial internal rate of return of11.51%,the investment recovery period is9.8years, investment financial net present value (1=8%)137.34million yuan. Capital financial internal rate of return is14.84%, investment recovery period will be10.2years, capital financial net present value(1=8%)is181.88million yuan.
