With the continuous development of social economy, the contradiction between economic growth and ecological environment has become increasingly prominent, ecological problems have become the focus of attention. China in the process of modernization will inevitably face this problem. So, what is the root of ecological crisis? How to deal with and solve the current ecological crisis human are suffering from, and how to construct ecological civilization? It is an urgent problem. In this paper, based on the interpretation of Marx’s concept of practice the author carries on the exploration to solve these problems through delving into its ecological connotation. The first chapter delves into the root of ecological crisis question. Through the analysis of ecological crisis modern human society suffers, author tries to find the causes of ecological crisis, explores the influences of "anthropocentrism" on ecological crisis in some extent, distinguishes and explains the differences between the traditional and modern anthropocentricism, and criticizes the traditional anthropocentrism while affirming the theoretical contributions of modern anthropocentrism and expounding its defects and limitations. Marx’s scientific concept of practice transcends the traditional anthropocentrism and conceives effective key to solve ecological crisis puzzle. The second chapter explores the scientific connotation of Marx’s concept of practice. There are three layers in Marx’s concept of practice:(1) practice is the fundamental form of existence of human;(2) the entire structure and inner contradiction of practice;(3) the social form and dialectical moving process of practice. The third chapter expounds the ecological connotation of Marx’s view of practice. It includes three dimensions:ontology, epistemology and social history. From the view of ontology practice stipulates the relationship between human and nature as well as human and human of practice’s integrity. From the view of epistemology practice is the dialectical unification of practice’s subjectivity and passivity, containing the unity of the criterion of truth and value. From the view of historical materialism practice is the dialectical unification of "natural history" and "natural history".The fourth chapter elaborates significance of ecological thoughts of Marx’s view of practice on the construction of our ecological civilized society.(1) It provides a theoretical reference for solving the ecological crisis faced by China.(2) It lays a theoretical foundation for China’s implement of Scientific Outlook on Development (3) It offers methodological guidance for our country to take a new road of industrialization and practical guidance for building a socialist harmonious society.(4)It brings practical guidance for the construction and practice of our ecological civilized society.
