Coal preparation technology is the precondition of coal deep processing, clean and efficient utilization.Coal can remove most of the raw coal mineral impurities, improve coal quality, and put it into different levels, creating favorable conditions for the rational use of the user. In recent years, with the improvement of coal production technology, the replacement of equipment and the development of automation technology, as well as the problems incompatible and complicated control system, the original control system has been unable to meet the need of advanced coal preparation. At the same time, the level of automation in coal washing plant in improving, gradually from single machine automation, equipment centralized control to factory automation development, this is the requirement of upgrading the automation control system of coal preparation plant, in order to ensure the safety of production.According to the requirements of Dawukou mining area type heavy medium coal washery selection process in Shizuishan, by analysis, designed to Siemens S7-400PLC as the control host, to complete on-site equipment control and data acquisition. Distributed I/O module of ET200M PROFIBUS-DP as a remote control station. Between the host computer and the control system in the control room of PLC using industrial Ethernet communication, data operation equipment is to a main control system through the Device Net network. For more than30KW power equipment, to protect the E3intelligent temperature relay. The range of control system including raw coal system, heavy medium system, sinotrans system. The effect of coal quality parameters (such as density, liquid level) PID control, and the density of the fuzzy PID control has better control effect. Control system adopts the module of ladder diagram programming easy for debugging and troubleshooting, eventually control program is downloaded to the S7-PLCSIM simulation debugging.This paper mainly introduced the coal washing production process, parameters detection, PID control, fieldbus parameter setting, program design and simulation debugging so on. Through the design and analysis of modification on these links, this control system can not only automatically detecting and adjusting the process parameters, but also the running state parameters and display devices, realizes automatic control, greatly improve the productivity, and facilitates the production scheduling, and timely to equipment fault alarm and processing, improve the the reliability of the production. The system has been put into use. Running stability, low failure rate, convenient maintenance, control precision has been improved greatly, saves the cost of production.
