Since China joined into WTO, under the influence of the national policy and market demand, Chinese automotive industry has achieved great development. Along with the rapid development of the automotive industry, environmental problem is increasingly serious, which does not only affect on people’s daily lives, but also makes any environmental risk and environmental cost continue to increasing at the same time. So, more and more attention has been paid on the environmental problems of the automotive industry.In this paper, the real situation of a domestic automobile manufacturing enterprise was taken as the research object, an overview of the running conditions and the environmental impact assessment (EIA) problem of the first phase project through the current domestic generic based method and guidelines of EIA, project plan and new equipment of the second phase project and the legacy EIA issues of the first phase project were described in detail. Based on the environmental assessment of the area where the construction project is located, optimize the method of engineering analysis, including product category, process flows, hazard identification of raw and auxiliary materials and so on. Analyses the second phase project’s impact on the environment and pollution control measures are put forward. Put forward guideline opinions for automotive manufacturing enterprises environmental solutions and measuresFinally, summarizes the environmental impact, and do validation for effect of pollution control measures:wastewater total processing capacity of more than55t/h, it had reached the standard of waste water discharge, adopt the method of carbon fiber absorption tower, it can guarantee xylene emissions standards. Total amount control eia index:Dust8.93t/a; Smoke6.9t/a; SO2:36.72t/a; Characteristic pollutant emissions control requirements:xylol:41.09t/a.
