Currently, food safety has increasingly become a serious problem, one of the effective paths to solve this problem is to establish the Tracking&Traceability System (TTS).At present, the application systems of traceability based on the traditional customization for various food processing procedure have not adapted to majority small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), because they have the high costs and the long cycles of implementations. For this reason, this thesis describes how to research and develop the TTS based on the SaaS mode, that is beneficial not only to meet quality and safety traceability requirements, but also to support the flexible configurations. The Author mainly completed the work as follows:1. Analyzes system functional and non-functional requirements of the TTS based on the user’s needs and comparing the market similar products.2. Introduces the traceability platform architecture and the design ideas from the architecture level, summarizes the common factors such as the key data collection point, data association rules, business process rules definition of the key data collection point, from the system modeling perspective. By user-defined that will meet the configurable requirements of the whole TTS and the deferent suitability requirements for various food traceability.3. Describes the design and implementation about several kernel modules of the TTS, including:the design and implementation of data association rules and code rules, metadata model of the key data collection point and multi-tenant architecture. Describes how to establish the metadata model of the key data collection point to meet the configuration requirements of SaaS and multi-tenant architecture requirements based on the system implementations.The author’s research work in this thesis can help the enterprise to arrange their own traceability business and then build their own TTS to shorten the development cycle and implement rapidly. Moreover, it is a strong reference to the similar system constructions and implementations.
