| Continuous Extrusion, due to its high raw material using ratio〠good quality finishing product and environmental-friendly, is regarded as a promising way to produce Al and Cu pipe and wire. different series such as TLJ630ã€TLJ500and TLJ300had been developed, and more than2000working lines had been equipped.The spindle system, the quality of which decides the using life and performance of the whole device, is the core working campus of the device, therefore, profoundly analysis is needed to be performed to promote the quality of the device. as long as the contact problem of the system is not solved, precisely structural analysis of the component had not been realized. however, the contact problem of the spindle system is deeply investigated in this paper:1. the algorithm and solution method of the contact problem in finite element method(FEM) is studied, and the exactly FEM modal of the system is established due to the working condition of the system; the material property library of the component was founded and the boundary condition is calculated by mechanical theories.2. The solid and FEM modal of the spindle system were respectively established by Pro/E and Hyper-Mesh, finally, the working process of the spindle system was successfully simulated by ANSYS, through which the contact status between the components and the structural strength of the spindle system were obtained.the contact pressure and the contact sheer friction were calculated, and the numerical relationship between the pre-tension and the contact pressure and the contact sheer friction between the components were computed, the value distributes between0.010095and0.17749.which indicates the stabilization of the system.and the ratio of the torque beside the wheel is3:1,which presents the design of the spindle needs to be promoted.3. The stress of the spindle〠liner and wheel were computed, which presents dangerous area distribution in the spindle and wheel based on the contact analysis. then the optimization design of the spindle and the fatigue analysis of the extrusion wheel were performed. |
