Polyurethane (PU) is a type of general elastomer materials with excellent abrasive and solvent resistance. PU coating and fiber are widely applied in artificial leather and underwear fields. The antibacterial and deodorant performance of PU is related to human health due to close contact. Metal phthalocyanine (MPc) compounds is a kind of organic functional materials with highly conjugated structure. MPc possess high thermal, chemical stability and catalytic oxidation property, which can endow PU with antibacterial properties. This is important to enlarge the application of PU in life, medical and other fields. In this thesis, MPc compounds with different functional groups have been synthesised and have been applicated in modification of PU. The main works and results were presented as follows:(1) Fe-tetranitro phthalocyanine (Fe-TNPc) was prepared by the reaction of4-Nitrophthalonitrile and FeCl3·6H2O in DMAc solvent with DBU as catalyst upon exposure to microwave irradiation. The effects of different conditions, such as microwave power etc., on the yield were discussed. Fe-tetraamino phthalocyanine (Fe-TAPc) was prepared by the reduction reaction of Fe-TNPc with Na2S·9H2O. Their molecular structures were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR),1H-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H-NMR), Elemental Analysis (EA) and Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis). The solubility of Fe-TNPc in DMAc was far better than common MPc. Due to the active functional group amino, Fe-TAPc can be used for the synthesis of metal phthalocyanine derivatives.(2) Fe-TNPc/PU films with different Fe-TNPc contents were prepared by the solution blending method. Mechanical properties of the films were characterized by Universal Materials Tester (UMT) and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA). The results showed that tensile strength and elongation at break of the films were improved by addition of Fe-TNPc when the content was below1.Owt%. The microphase separation degree and hydrogen bonded carbonyl of Fe-TNPc/PU films were increased, which corresponds to the physical cross-linking density of PU. Due to the catalytic function of Fe-TNPc, Fe-TNPc/PU films aged under high intensity of ultraviolet irradiation. Antibacterial properties of Fe-TNPc/PU films were excellent and antibacterial rate can be up to99.35%(3) Fe-phthalocyanine derivative with four long alkyl chain (Fe-TLAPc) was prepared by the reaction of Fe-TAPc and octadecanoic acid (OA). The molecular structure of Fe-TLAPc was characterized by FT-IR and1H-NMR. The Fe-TLAPc was blended with PU to make the Fe-TLAPc/PU films. UMT test results showed that mechanical properties of the Fe-TLAPc/PU films were improved, the tensile strength and elongation at break were up to65MPa and1200%respectively.
