As the industrialization advance rapidly, the water pollution problems deteriorate.Deterioration of water environment causes many areas abundant water quality lack of water,and also becomes the region’s economic and social development of the main constraints. Inorder to change this situation, we need to analysis the water quality monitoring data, evaluatethe regional water quality status. It can prevent the water quality deteriorate and providescientific support to the development of regional water resources management decisionscheme.Evaluation results of water quality objective or not depends on the selected indicatorscomprehensive and representative or not, and evaluation standard and method reasonable ornot. Currently there are many evaluation methods, this article first with the most commonlyused single factor evaluation on Liuxi River water flow, pointing out the deficiencies of themethod.Then selects fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, water quality characteristicpattern, improved water quality index method to evaluate the Liuxi River middle reachesquality monitoring data in2010. Then points out the advantages and disadvantages of thethree methods and put forward a kind of new water quality evaluation method: water qualityindex pattern method. Using this method to evaluate Liuxi River middle reaches water qualityfrom2010to2012and the three section water quality in2012.Using the third standard toevaluate, first annual analysis: the water quality index is getting higher and the water qualitybecomes worse. The water quality is34.4,44.8and87.6from2010to2012. Nitrogenconcentration and fecal coliform bacteria exceed the standard in three years. In2010fecalcoliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration and iron concentration exceeds the standard0.22,0.79and0.067times. In2011coliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration, ammonia nitrogenconcentration, iron concentration and manganese concentration exceed the standard0.87,1.58,0.19,0.167and0.2times. In2012fecal coliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration, mercury,lead and BOD5exceed the standard0.83,1.17,0.6,0.38and0.0275times. Then sectionanalysis: The three sections’ water quality index is61.8,87.6and60. The water quality indexis getting higher and then lower, the water quality becomes worse and then better. Nitrogenand fecal coliform bacteria exceed the standard in three sections. In the Conghua waterwork A,coliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration and mercury concentration exceed the standard0.07,0.04and0.80times. In Baiyun waterwork C, coliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration,mercury concentration, lead concentration, iron concentration exceed the standard1.50,1.67,0.90,0.38and0.77times. In Huadu waterwork B, coliform bacteria, nitrogen concentration and iron concentration exceed the standard0.91,1.80and0.6times. According to theevaluation results, find out the causes of the pollution--pollution of sewage, garbage,agricultural production, industrial wastewater, and put forward corresponding preventionmeasures.
