Based on the wastewater treatment plan had been put into operation,a town intends tobuild advanced Municipal Wastewater Treatment for secondary effluent, in order to chievethe purpose of reclaimed water reuse. According to the requirements of the relevant theregulations and standards, the design was first demonstrated the technical and economiccomparison focuses on Activated Carbon Adsorption, Ozone Oxidation, BAF, MBRwastewater treatment technology, etc., then, the design use the MBR process for advancedtreatment of secondary effluent.After debugging and running, BOD removal rate reached97%, COD removalefficiency reached92%,the SS removal rate reached84%, NH3-N removal rate reached82%, TN removal rate reached61%. Treated water reached the standard requirements of“The reuse of urban recycling water-Water quality standard for scenic environment use”(GB/T18921-2002) and The reuse of urban recycling water-Water quality standard forurban miscellaneous water consumption "(GB/T18920-2002).Activated sludge concentration, aeration and DO, HRT and membrane fouling are themain factors of MBR process operating results. In order to ensure long-term stableoperation of the MBR process, Activated sludge concentrations was2-4g/L, From meetthe needs of the microorganisms and save costs to consider, the project by the measuredDO was about1.5mg/L can meet the requirements of process operation. Reasonablecontrol of the hydraulic retention time, the effective operation of the MBR technology isvery good; the project after debugging the best HRT in the range was5-6h. By reasonablebackwash, regular maintenance cleaning can effectively segment membrane foulingphenomenon. In addition, the regular work appropriately increased air can also bemembrane fouling, to a certain extent.The running result shows that the engineering design is reasonable, reliable technology,stable operation. The project has achieved a good environmental benefits, economicbenefits and social benefits.
