Research On Rural Environmental Pollution Abatement Of Anxiang County

With the rapid development of economy of our country, the rural economy has increased dramatically. However, we have been ignoring the protection of the environment at the time of economic growth, environmental pollution problems have become increasingly prominent. It is clearly stated in the report to the18th Congress of the Communist Party of China that, promoting the construction of ecological civilization vigorously, to build "a resource-saving and environment-friendly" two-oriented society is imminent. And it’s very urgent to manage environmental pollution in rural areas comprehensively and improve the quality of the rural environment.Anxiang County, located in Hunan Province, is a nationally renowned land flowing with milk and honey. However, in recent years, the ecological environment of Anxiang County has been greatly damaged. Based on this, this thesis takes Anxiang County as an example to explore the environmental pollution control. Based on the research of domestic rural environmental pollution control and related theory, this thesis discusses the necessity of rural environment pollution control. Through the analysis of the present situations,the status of pollution and pollution control situation and the existing problems of Anxiang County,we conclude that the weak awareness of environmental protection, agricultural area-source pollution, accumulation of solid waste in rural areas, the lack of supervision on the villages and towns enterprises environment as well as urban industrial pollution transfer and other factors led to Anxiang County’s deteriorating environment. On the basis of analyzing the problems, learning from the successful experience of environmental pollution control in rural areas, we propose the Anxiang County rural environment pollution countermeasures:Strengthen the environmental awareness of farmers-promote the rural environmental protection legislation-specific implementation measures.Environmental pollution governance in rural areas is a long-term task that needs multi-stakeholder co-governance of society, government and corporates. And it involves a variety of factors. It not only needs multi-party collaboration and communication, besides tomandatory governance, but also needs to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the environmental protection of the general public.
