With the Danish Copenhagen summit in December2009, under the call of the lowcarbon economy,"carbon emissions" has increasingly become the focus of attention. Themost intuitive carbon emissions index-"carbon Footprint"(CF) has become thequantitative parameters of carbon emissions. Influence of textile and clothing products onthe environment has attracted people’s attention, therefore the normative and scientificassessment of low-carbon production process is of more importance.On the background of above phenomenon, this paper studies on the carbon footprintof the molded bra products in the production process, aiming at introducing the assessmentmethod of carbon footprint to the underwear enterprises low-carbon production process,and providing scientific and effective low carbonization assessment and managementmethods for the underwear products.The main contents of this dissertation are shown as follows:(1) Through in-depth investigation on the underwear enterprise and interviews withexperts, the production status and existing problems of underwear enterprise were learned,the necessity of the subject was cleared and related information was collected.(2) Doing research on the related concepts and theories. Including the concept ofcarbon footprint and carbon footprint classification method, the carbon footprintcalculation methods and compare and analyze the methods, then a suitable assessmentmethod for carbon footprint of molded bra in the production process was chosen, all ofwhich provide theoretical and technical support to this paper.(3) Study of the characteristics and main influence factors of carbon footprint of themolded bra in the production process.(4) Research on the construction method of the carbon footprint assessment index ofthe molded bra product in the production process. Based on the environmental regulationsand environmental standards which are accepted widely by other international countries and developed countries, and at the same time, follow the general principles of the index,combining with the characteristics of the molded bra in the production process, theassessment index which conforms to the connotation and substance of carbon footprint ofthe molded bra in the production process is established, including the theoreticalframework and practical index.(5)Building the assessment model of the molded bra product in the productionprocess according to the sources of carbon emissions of the molded bra.(6) On the basis of above research, building the carbon footprint assessmentframework of the assessment system of the molded bra in the production process, introducethe main function modules and working process of the assessment system. The assessmentsystem has the different function such as data collection, analysis, statistics, and forecasts.In this paper,the carbon footprint assessment method was introduced into themolded bra in the production process, study of the characteristics and main influencefactors of carbon footprint of the molded bra in the production process and build thecarbon footprint assessment index and model of the molded bra product in the productionprocess which provide the theoretical basis and methods for low carbon production processassessment of the underwear business.
