Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) as a bio-plastic comes from agriculturalby-product like cornstalk. The superiority of PHA is that it is renewable andcan be completely degradative.At first, the paper focus on mechanical and thermal property tests onPHA, It shows that PHA is a soft and tough material and its thermal laminatedtemperature is between105.1℃and152.91℃. The value of surface tension,chromatic aberration, glossiness proves its fit printing.Then PHA was tested in every step of IC production. During sunken cordprocess, it is found that the optimal processing parameter with dichotomy.During thermally laminated, quadrature analysis gained the optimal parameter.the main influence is from time to temperature, then to pressure.During composition of different IC materials, such as PHA+PVC,PHA+PETG, PHA+PC, and PHA+PVC belt film, only PHA+PVC belt filmcan be composited together. Otherwise, PHA can be laser ablated with a clearidentification.In the final step, PHA card pass the properties tests according tointernational criteria, such as physical and chemical test, aging resistantperformance and environment test.In conclusion, the mechanical and thermal property of PHA could meetthe essential requirement of IC material. PHA have good adaptability ofprinting, IC manufacture process and laser corrosion, but weak compositionwith other material. PHA is suitable for non-personalization IC manufactureas Environment-friendly material.
