Static and dynamic characteristics of cold and hot-rolling mill HGC system have a direct impact on the strip thickness control accuracy and stability of the rolling process. In order to ensure the mill’s long-term stability, we need regularly testing on the static and dynamic characteristics of the servo cylinder.Domestic HGC servo cylinder performance testing and fault diagnosis technology has not been possible to be a good solution. Currently we still have not rolling mill servo cylinder test methods, standards, and technology. Because Baosteel has not HGC servo cylinder testing equipment,the site often can not accurately determine the location and cause of the malfunction of the mill hydraulic servo system failure,hugely replacing parts, resulting in a large number waste of spare parts and manpower.Due to hydraulic system or component failures have occurred, it makes a badly impact on the normal production.The purpose of this research project is to design a set of HGC servo cylinder testing system, and through computer simulation, and acquire the relevant test technology, to carry out the continuous improvement of the system for the mill HGC systems and other hydraulic servo system, and to give testing technical support on research and development, engineering design.Analyzing the theory of rolling-mill HGC system model,and on this basis,design the test of servo cylinder position system.Build servo cylinder position system models,use AMESim software to simulate these models in order to have stable output.With experiment of system model,we can get a system optimization.
