In recent years, the threat posed by the fire to the safety of life of people andproperty is more and more serious. In today’s society which respect the value of life,people always want to do everything possible to reduce the occurrence of fire. For along time, the fire-retardant protective fabrics in our country mainly rely onfire-retardant finishing to cotton, cotton blended and polyester fabric or on thefire-retardant fiber and cotton or cotton fiber blend. These flame retardant productsprevalence of low-grade, single species, the rapid decline of the flame retardantproperties after washing, short life, low heat resistance and poor comfort deficiency.Along with social progress, scientific and technological developing and theimprove of people’s living standards, wool fabric’s applications and the use ofpremises is becoming more and more extensive and the demands of flame retardantproperties and its composite function of textile in many applications is increasing.Therefore, the development of high quality wool worsted fabric with flame retardantprotective composite function conforms to contemporary society and people’s lives ofthe high quality demand for composite function of flame retardant textiles.To research and develop wool fabrics blending wool and which set fire retardantand water and oil repellent in one composite functional is the center of the subject,testing and researching the flame retardant properties of wool fabric blended withKevlar, analysis and optima the flame retardant finishing process and water and oilrepellent finishing process of the fabric.The topics chose wool80%aramid20%as the blending ratio to analysis andoptima the flame retardant finishing process and water and oil repellent finishingprocess. Firstly, optima and select the best flame retardant of FQ-YMA、FQ-103A、QY-407A and FK-110according to the recommended process with the wool fabric.Finally confirm the complex type flame retardant finishing agent FK110for bestflame-retardant effect. By researching the influence which conventional finishing process to the flameretardant effect of the intrinsically flame resistance of the wool fabric to confirm themethod of flame retardant finishing not affect the performance of the flame retardantaid. For wool and Kevlar blended fabric, in order to further improve the flameretardant properties of the fabric, the crafts of preferred FK110retardant additivesneed to be further improved, finally confirm the crafts of FK110is dosage9%,pH4,temperature80℃,dipping time60min. At the same time through comparativeanalysis the flame retardant properties of three flame retardant finishing methods forfabric that high hydraulic infiltrating finishing technology can make the fabric underthe same conditions be higher in the respects of the adsorption rate of the flameretardant aid and the flame-retardant effect be more pronounced.In order to gain wool and Kevlar blended fabric with composite function whichset fire retardant and water repellent and oil in one, apply nano anti-aids X490tosample for water repellent and oil finishing, optima and analysis the use of technologyaids and determine the best process: X490concentration2.4%; pre-bakingtemperature100℃; drying factor150℃3min, the fabric still has better wash abilityafter washed, after30washes, the water repellent degrees still maintain4, oil proofdegrees are still more than four.The worsted composite function wool fabric with flame retardant and waterrepellent and oil proof properties that the research developed is based on the existingnew materials, new technology, new equipment, new production technology, throughcomprehensive experimental and analytical studies, optimize the design, adoptingflame-retardant fiber blended with wool fiber to product flame retardant worsted woolfabric, then by nano-water and oil repellent finishing to gain top grade worstedcomposite functional wool fabric with flame retardant and water and oil repellentproperties which can be used for ignition dangerous place existing fire, emittingsparks, molten metal and flammable substances wearing.
