Petroleum Resources Security And Study On Properties Of Methanol Gasoline

As an important industrial raw materials and strategic materials, petroleum promotesnational industrialization and modernization construction, and has important significance tothe economic development and national defense construction. China’s oil reserves arerelatively poor, and the oil yield is not high because of the level of technology andgeographical position. Because of year after year exploitation, the production and storageratio of the existing domestic big oilfield began to fall, and the newly discovered oil located inthe disputed waters with neighboring countries, can’t be exploited on a large scale. China as abig country of oil consumption, oil imports is growing, and the current situation of petroleumsecurity can’t be ignored. The paper analyses the present situation of domestic petroleumresources, puts forward specific solutions of the security problems in the transportation ofpetroleum imports, put forward to replace traditional vehicle fuel oil resources with methanolgasoline to reduce the pressure, and studies the properties of the methanol gasoline.It will ensure China’s oil import security by vigorously developing strategy of thediversification of oil import area and route. Our country continue to maintain peace andfriendly relations between the existing petroleum import country, and strengthen cooperationwith emerging oil producing countries. We should seek and develop new imported petroleumtransport channel through cooperation with our neighboring countries. This will ensureChina’s oil security of supply and transport channel. The oil reserve system, in line with thecondition of China, is being constructed by learning from the advanced experience ofdeveloped countries such as the United States, Japan, and Germany. It gradually moves closerto the target of strategic oil reserve capacity specified by the International Energy Agency(IEA).It can effectively reduce the consumption of oil using alternative energy, which can reduceour oil pressure, and ensure the security of oil. The use of methanol gasoline to replacetraditional fuels can effectively reduce the oil consumption. Methanol gasoline shows itsunique advantages in engine bench test, not only the power, economy improved significantly,but also harmful gas emissions are greatly reduced. Experimental study found that, it canextend the time of methanol gasoline properties remaining stable during storage and transport, and improve the methanol gasoline oxidation stability and corrosion resistance by addingproper additive. It provides the theory basis for the extensive application of methanolgasoline.
