With reform and development of China’s tobacco industry and informationconstruction within the industry has been gradually strengthened, tobacco logistics ispaid more and more attention as a crucial link in the tobacco industry supply chain, andthe efficiency of logistics operations will directly affect the level of development of themodern tobacco industry. At present, China’s cigarette industry is speeding up theconstruction of modern logistics system, the State Administration of Tobacco clearlyput forward the general requirements of comprehensive coverage, control and upgradein the comprehensive planning of improving cigarette logistics level. And thecutting-edge technology,like Internet Of Things, RFID and QR code technology, hasbeen aimed at to strengthen of the logistics management and control capability in theindustry, and to realize the future-oriented and irreplaceable cigarette logistics system.And the cigarette logistics network of covering all areas and the whole process will beconstructed.In current, the degree of information of the cigarette logistics industry is stilllower, traditional logistics management of all aspects are relying on manual operationsfrom warehousing and inventory in the warehouse to the warehouse sorting whichleads to high labor costs. Many areas dock in the information sharing is not smoothwhich leads to slower process and operational efficiency. Faced with the currentdevelopment and requirements of cigarette logistics and problems of the entire chain.The current technical innovation and advanced technology should be introduced toimprove the level of modernization of logistics operations. Combined with the actual requirements of cigarette logistics, video monitor technology, QR code technology,mobile internet technology, sensor technology, OPC technology and RFID technologyhave been selected and applied in cigarette logistics field which can solve the problemof information mismatch and inefficiency to improve the informatization level oflogistics.In this paper, the study is based on tobacco production and operational decisionmanagement system, the three main links of warehousing, sorting and distribution aregrasped and the three dimension of business, management and technical are around toanalysis the problems of tobacco logistics management. The Internet of Thingstechnology is adopted to improve the level of logistics management and the frameworkof Internet of Things technology which is suitable for cigarette logistics is formed torealize to integrate and enhance cigarette logistics process and process visualization,management intelligentialize and transparency information and meeting therequirements of cigarette logistics finally.
