Nowadays, the risk is a common problem which the whole world is facing. Especially in the engineering and construction industry which plays a key role in the national economy, risk management is very important. This study concentrates on the risk identification, estimation, evaluation and risk control of the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. Although the risk exits without a doubt, we can use the scientific management to reduce the probability of risk occurring. In addition, we can get extra compensation because of the risk. The study involves four sections.The first part is introduction. This part explains the background and the meanings of this study. Also the research methods and ideas are included in this part. Finally, we also introduce the situation of the study at home and abroad.The second part is overview of the risk management theory. This section introduces the basic principles and procedures of the risk management theory.The third part is overview of the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. This section focuses on the feasibility and the introduction of the project.The forth part is risk identification and estimation of the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. This section focuses on the risk identification of t the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. We use the expert score method to estimate the risk. Finally, we find four main project risks from nine risks in this project.The fifth part, based on FTA, gives the risk access of the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. This part using the method of FTA makes risk evaluation, and also identifies the higher risk.The sixth part, suggests the project’s risk response and risk monitoring about the Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company. According to the above high risk, this part mainly puts forward to answer measures and monitoring methods.。Finally, it is the conclusion and prospection. According to the risk assessment results by using FTA method on the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company, we draw the corresponding conclusion, and give some suggestion of studies in the future.The study is about the Project of Cooling Tower’s Energy Saving and Transforming on S Company,it gives risk evaluation and analysis, not only useful for S company to reduce and avoid risks effectively, but also helpful for the other future projects risk assessment and gives lessons.
