This thesis explores the influencing scope of tourism activities on the environment of Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas, to provide new ideas and methods for the protection of heritage sites. The Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas is a hot tourist destination with abundant biodiversity, aggregation of valuable and endangered animals and plants, complex geography and fragile environment in our country. The scenic regions of Laojun Mountain, Hong Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain were the major regions for tourist activity. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of current protection and management is not obvious and the natural resources and environment have been damaging and degrading. The studies on the heritage site are mostly focused on macro-scale, though analysis the resource in determined range. This thesis analysis the state of the environment within tourist area on the meso-scale, the reverse determine the range of tourism activities, thus the influences on the environment of heritage sites have been realized more accurately and such studies are rarely.Through collect and collate tourism data to select the main attractions and the nearby villages as the center. To establish buffer zones with ArcGIS software, then analysis the geography and land cover land use to determine the maximum range of human activities by the cost distance model as the range of tourism activities affected and new research spatial scale. To analysis landscape fragmentation and diversity index of different landscapes in the new scale to get the main landscape features in the "Three Parallel Rivers" range of tourism activities affected. The result shows that:(1) The ranges of tourism activities are mainly distributed nearby lakes and rivers;(2) Landscape fragmentation index in each rang has a certain similarity and there are significant differences from whole area, landscape structure and landscape diversity index have no obvious rules and much individual differences;(3) In ranges of tourism activities affected, shrub and meadow, cold temperate coniferous forest are main landscape components, its anti-interference of human activities is weak. The solutions have been proposed aiming at concrete issues. It is a comprehensive and expansion on Landscape Ecology and Sustainable Development of Tourism, and it is hoped that significant practical guidance for maintaining the stability of the ecosystem and ensuring the heritage values in the process of exploring and developing tourism of natural heritage site such as Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas.
