Rubber-tyred vehicle has been the primary subsidiary transport in the large coal mine. Braking performance is one of the important performances for rubber-tyred vehicle; good braking performance is the important guarantee for rubber-tyred safety driving. Rubber-tyred vehicle braking performance including service braking and park braking. Based on type WC5mine explosion-proof rubber-tyres vehicle, the thesis research its front wheel service brake. The brake is mainly composed of dynamic shell, static shell, piston, pressure plate, friction plate and stop cover components. The thesis aims to study of move shell for parametric design(short for move shell).According to the known two-dimensional graphics for move shell, there are four step we can do to get move shell’s parametric diagram for rubber-tyres vehicle in the front brake. Firstly, building the parametric model based on the idea of feature modeling for move shell. Secondly, writing the program in the VC++programming language. Thirdly, establishing dimensional tolerance database in Access, and exporting the data by programming language. Fourthly, inputting parameter values in CAXA electron board. Establishing move shell3d model in Pro/Engineering and finite element in ANSYS, move shell structure static analysis to determine whether meet the strength requirement.In the VC++program the main tasks are:setting the layer and the linear; designing the menu bar for move shell parametric design; setting the parametric input dialog; drawing the frame, title bar and parameter table; writing move shell diagram program and dimension, tolerance match and technical requirements program. The complete program with the CAXA electron board to connect and debugging, ultimately through "the application manager" in the electronic board shows diagram, to achieve the move shell diagram for same structure under different size.
