Based on the theoretical principles of ergonomics researches the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle WC5as a sample to analyze the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle cab and the working environment underground, and studies the design of the system that combined with human-machine-environment as a whole, then verifies the theoretical data with the software of CATIA which can virtual verification of data, to make the design scheme are closer to the needs of human body and more humane.First of all, the paper describes the background and theoretical knowledge of ergonomics related with topics, and analyses the existing explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle’s system of man-machine-environment and establishes the model using3ds Max software to simulate the cab spatial layout of the cab and divides the spatial layout of the work area rationally to design a more reasonable display systems and operating systems, improving the driver’s convenience of on or off the vehicle and the convenience of touch things.Secondly, the paper finds out the layout of the H-point through the principle and the solving method of H-point, in order to determine the spatial position of the seat which is the most comfortable position, and analyzes the working environment to improve the driver’s comfortable sensation during working.Finally, we create a virtual driving environment in the software CATIA with the right choice of a suitable human model, and determine the arrangement of hard points on the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle, and through the analysis of the comfortable driving position on the human body’s joint angles, further validate the designed size through theory of the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle and improve the effectiveness of ergonomics.In summary, this paper analyzes the theory of ergonomics, and combines the analyzes with the actual design applications of the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle, improving the safety, comfort and ease of driving operations of workers effectively, and highlight the humane care with the improved working efficiency at the same time, to make the products more competitive in the marketplace.
