Pressure die casting is one of the mass-produced high accuracy interchangeablemechanical parts processing methods. It is widely used in the automotive, electronics,lamps, motorcycle manufacturing industry, with an important position in the developmentof the national economy in the possession of. Die-casting machine is an important kind ofpressure casting equipment, but the early production of die-casting machine in ourcountry, commonly used to rely on control system, which is cumbersome and not veryaccurate. In this regard, this article Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) introducestraditional die-casting machine control system, the automated control. To improve thereliability of the system, we adopt the dual-CPU redundancy control mode; to improvethe control accuracy PID control is selected.The specific research contents in the following aspects:1) Control system hardware design include: The selection of die-casting machineparameters detection sensor, the PLC Selection and resource allocation,PLC Redundancycontrol program design, PID control design, I/O points, the control system circuit and soon.2) The control system software design includes: The ladder program design, dual-CPU the software redundancy control, PID control program design and so on.With this design, die casting machine PLC automatic control. It also adopts doubleCPU control technology and PID control technology, further improve the reliability andaccuracy of control system. Through the software of PLC process simulation andadopting some anti-jamming measures, by adopting PLC has been achieved thetraditional die casting machine control system innovation.
