With increasingly fierce market competition, Chinese paperindustry has started to enter into a new development stage of “qualityand efficiency-oriented”. And the paper machine electrical drivingcontrol as the paper quality protection technology, has been widelyfavored by the paper companies at home. But because the paper machinedriving system is often in high-speed operation and has thecharacteristics that the load is stably increasing and decreasing, thedynamic index of the electrical driving control system must have a veryhigh demand. In this thesis based on Siemens Totally IntegratedAutomation Control Software (PCS7) and high-speed corrugated papermachine, the solution research and design of the paper machineelectrical driving control system were done in this thesis, and focusedon the followings.First, analyzed the speed chain, load distribution and paper tensionon the driving control system, conducted the calculations of motor load,designed of the redundant system and monitoring on system equipment(PDM), achieved the target of WinCC data exchange with excel.Second, in this thesis analyzed the theoretical transmissionparameters of the driving system, calculated all the relevant factorsaffecting the transmission quality to achieve a good control effect. gavethe formulas of the speed chain, dynamic load and the tension demand,and the discrete equations and suitable approximation algorithm of themotor electromagnetic torque were also given. Third, in order to achieve the better monitoring effect on thetransmission equipment, in the WinCC the features were done,including access to communication with S7-400CPU state, videomonitoring by WinCC webcam, the input/output fields withacknowledgments.Finally, introduced the implementation of AC and variablefrequency control scheme of domestic high-speed paper machinedriving control system. Including control system selection、design ofsystem program、actuator selection,and the results of system operationshown that each transmission point had high precision of speed control,load distribution had good dynamic characteristics, paper tensioncontrol responded quickly.
