The process of preconcentration reduces the mining request of iron ore. In orderto increase domestic supply of iron ore, we need to take the strong utilization of lowgrade magnetite resources.In view of the low iron ore grade by super fine process, and with the level ofmonomer dissociation of iron ore improved, the new type of multiple rolls drypermanent magnetic separator which can implement low iron ore enrichment by lowcost is developped. The new multiple more roll dry type magnet magnetic separatoradopts dynamic absorption type ore separation, and selects the NdFeB permanentmagnet as the magnetic materia. By using the high surface strength and deep magneticfield effect, high probability of recovery of magnetic products achieved with strongmagnetic field strength. In this process, give priority to ensuring recovery of magnetic,and achieve the good effect of preelection discarding tail. The machine is composed ofa plurality of modular design for single stage separation mechanism and combined bystepped dislocation arrangement,that not only make magnetic separation machine hasthe function of "one machine processed in multiple", but also can adjust sorting levelaccording to the actual situation. In this thesis, the design and simulation analysis areconduct on magnetic circuit of magnetic separation machine for optimization ofmagnetic parameters and establish the mathematical model of magnetic particleseparation.We choose low grade magnetite from Da Chang, Huo Qiu and extremely leanmagnetite ore from Bai yun e bo West mine for dry magnetic separation cast tail test byusing the multi-roll magnetic separator Trial-manufacture prototype. when the mineralparticle size for5~3mm, can throw large amounts of low grade ore tailings in additionto40%~50%, or even50%over. And the grade of TFe increase in the range of8%~16%, the recovery rate was83%~91%. A lot of test results indicate the rationalityand effectiveness of the new multi-multi-rolls dry permanent magnetic separatordesign. The design proposal and main parameters of industry experimental prototypeare work out On the basis of the development of small prototype.
