Gas disaster is one of the major disasters of coal mines, gas extraction is one of themain means of the gas control, considering drilling rig should mobile frequently fordrilling, study on the fast mobile method for drilling rig is beneficial to reduce thelabour strength of workers and improve drilling efficiency.In the article, the using and moving condition of MK series drilling rigs wasstudied and the short-range quickly mobile devices of gas extraction drilling rig weredeveloped combined with the structure of the drilling rig. According to differentconditions of roadway floor, the multifunctional sliding boots devices were developed.Based on different suspension methods, two positioning devices—clamping track andsupport bar were designed. According to different dynamical systems, the two tractiondevices were chosen and designed that were the manual traction device and thepneumatic traction device. Simultaneously, theoretical calculation and numerical checkof the above devices were done in order to make it satisfy operating requirements.Basedon the foregoing results, the short-range quickly mobile devices of gas extractiondrilling rig was contrived and test was done in the Chengzhuang Coal Mine of JinCheng.And compared with the original mobile method, the results showed that the device washelpful to improve the moving speed of drilling rig, to reduce labor intensity and toimprove the drilling efficiency, which possessed a certain actual effects.
