Good statistical thinking can make life more interesting, the effect of statistical thinking is even more than the knowledge of statistics to a certain extent. This research mainly focus on the level of senior science students of statistical thinking. The level of statistical thinking framework proposed by Mooney as the foundation, combing through nearly three years of college entrance examination paper in the "Statistics" examination and high school curriculum standard and statistical thinking related sections, the researcher designed a "senior students’ statistical thinking proficiency test", which includes6topics, from the description of data, data organization, data characterization and the analysis and interpretation of data in4dimensions for test. Considering the difference of setting and teaching progress course of different schools, study has been completed in three schools at different levels and choose high grade science students as the research object. The results are as follows:(1)most of the students’statistical thinking level in the transitional level and the quantization level, the higher or lower statistical thinking level is of small proportion.(2) most of the students can get information from the charts, there is still a problem but for organizing data. Reflected, is for the various data in life, how to get data, get data from which aspects of reflection and analysis some obstacles still exist.(3) the statistical thinking level showed significant positive correlation with students’mathematics achievement. Mathematics achievement can only be large in terms of statistical thinking level of students have a certain influence, but not absolutely.(4) for the students in the same grade, the level of statistical thinking statistical thinking level less than most of normal school students is slightly higher than that of normal school students. But the same grade, the students age lower, individual difference is bigger.(5) the city key middle school students, the level of statistical thinking than the other two schools to high. Ordinary high school student, the statistical thinking level than the art of ordinary rural high school.In this study, if the characteristics of statistical thinking can be the students os art and science majors and more deep mining, the measurement results will be more reliable. Because of the time reason, this study was summarized and analyzed only the results of test, no elaborate design and teacher interviews, the specific reasons for statistical thinking level fails to look for high school students in the situation. Also the typical sample failed to test the visit and study.
